Join in this community cooking club at Westraven Community Garden, where we will cook food together and chat, a bit like Saturday Kitchen on the telly!
You will be cooking and sharing food, skills and stories together in the Outdoor Kitchen, using produce from the garden to create community food.
The first event is Tuesday 21st September. One of our regular volunteers will be starting things off with some Caribbean dishes, salt fish and ackee, Rastaman Stew, sweetcorn fritters and more. This will be cooked over an open fire in the traditional way.
For those who would like to lead future sessions our Outdoor Kitchen has a gas powered BBQ, with a stove, lots of utensils, electricity, running water.
This event will take place every other Tuesday from 12pm to 2pm.
